Refund and Cancellation Policy

Try it before you pay

Every account gets a number of questions free, with the worked solutions and the topic breakdown included. That allowance is there so you can find out whether this suits you before any money changes hands. We would rather you used it than bought a subscription you end up asking us to reverse.

Cancelling

A Plus subscription is a one-off purchase for a fixed period. It does not renew by itself and nothing charges you automatically, so there is no recurring payment to cancel. When the period ends, access to Plus features ends. Nothing you have already answered is taken away — your history and your answered questions stay readable.

Refunds

Within 7 days of purchase, write to us and we will refund you in full, provided the account has not used the subscription heavily — as a guide, more than 100 questions answered under Plus. We will tell you plainly if we think that applies rather than refusing without a reason.

After 7 days, we do not usually refund, because you have had the thing you bought. There are exceptions and we would rather apply them than argue:

  • You were charged twice for the same purchase.
  • Money left your account and the subscription was never activated.
  • The service was substantially unavailable for a prolonged period during your subscription.
  • We closed your account for a reason that was not your fault.

How to ask

Write to support@navshikhar.com from the email address on the account, and tell us what you bought and why you are asking. You do not need a form or a template.

We acknowledge every request within 48 hours and aim to decide within 7 days. We resolve every request and complaint within one month of receiving it. If we approve a refund, we send it back through Razorpay to the original payment method — that is the only route it can take. Banks typically take a further 5 to 10 working days to show it, which is their timeline rather than ours.

When a refund is made, the subscription it paid for ends.

If you disagree

If you think we have got a decision wrong, say so in a reply and a person will look at it again. We would rather re-examine a decision than have you take it up with your bank first.
